At Espiche Golf, we are committed to providing excellent playing conditions year-round. As part of this commitment, we would like to inform you of important course maintenance and improvement projects taking place this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hollow Coring of Greens:<\/strong>
<\/strong>The next greens hollow coring work will take place from June 29 to July 2. This vital maintenance process helps to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Improve drainage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Reduce soil compaction<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Stimulate healthy root growth<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While this work may cause some short-term disruption, the long-term benefits to the quality of the greens and playability are substantial. We thank you in advance for your understanding and support during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Improvement Highlights<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Equipment Update<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past months, we have received two key additions to the maintenance fleet:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– A new CASE backhoe loader\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– A new electric greens mower<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These upgrades are now fully operational and support improved efficiency, performance and sustainability in our course maintenance operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Irrigation System<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We continue to make steady progress on the irrigation system across the course, focusing on optimisation and long-term reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This remains a key ongoing priority to ensure consistent playing conditions and improved water efficiency throughout the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tees Improvement \u2013 Hole 5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Works on Hole 5 tees have now been completed, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Replacement of irrigation pipes and sprinklers\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Extension of the yellow tees\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Installation of a 1.2 mm protective membrane beneath the turf. This membrane helps prevent root intrusion from surrounding trees and vegetation, ensuring improved tee quality, stability and long-term performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
